Michael and Robert had Artwork at District Office (3-8-11)

Both boys had their work displayed at the District office.  The work they did was AWESOME.  I have 3 artist in my family and proud of each one of them.

Michael's Triple Chocolate Birthday Cake (3-6-11)

SO EXCITED, he can't wait :-)

First bite was DELICIOUS!!!
As many of you know, Michael Jr. has been having a bunch of stomach issues.  Well, his actually birthday (December) he couldn't eat chocolate, his favorite cake, or for that matter anything at all.  He was on a liquid only diet.  So, I told him when he finally could eat something, he could get whatever kind of cake he wanted.  This is what he picked out, and he enjoyed 1/2 a cupcake.  His stomach started hurting after that 1/2 but he said it was worth it.  He has such a positive attitude for all the problems that he has had.

Cub Scout Pack 343 Blue and Gold Banquet (2-27-2011)

Scouts Attention :-)

The boys did WONDERFUL at the Blue and Gold banquet.  Uncle Mike came to watch them get their belt loops.  We had BBQ, Rice, Baked Beans, Hash, Green Beans and of course cake.  Michael and Robert really enjoy Cub Scouts.  I cannot wait for them to continue into Boy Scouts.

Snowy Days 1-10-11

I know I have not written in a while but I am going to try to get better about this.

Really mom another picture :-)

Making he "first" snowball!
This day was AWESOME.  The kids had a blast for about 30 minutes and then it was way to cold.  But, Traci was out there for about an hour.  She couldn't remember the last time she played in the snow.  She made snowballs and threw them at the kids.  She even tried to make a snowman, but it didn't work, it just collapsed.  I am glad that she enjoyed the snow.  Then, everyone came in for of course hot chocolate.  Here are a few picture from that day.

Robert wanting a picture with the deer

Being silly :-)
We actually didn't have a dinner like we did for Rianne or Robert's Birthday.  We will have one in January for him with the family.  With him being sick and being so close to Christmas it was just to hard to get anything scheduled.  But, out family did go to Saluda Shoals and see the lights.  Santa was also there this special day for Michael and he said this one was THE REAL ONE not a helper, so he was happy.

Robert's 8th Birthday (11-8-10)

We had to celebrate his brithday one day earlier because Mike had to go out of town for a new store opening for work.  I don't think Mike will ever hear the end of this one, because when Robert thinks it will make things go his way he tell Mike "You weren't here for my real birthday!"  We went to Pizza Hut.  We had a big party.  We had Haylee, Brantlee, Caralee, Stephanie, Logan, Austin, Uncle Mike, Sonya, Billy, Caleb, Chandler, and of course us.  I do not have picture as of right now, because Mike "misplaced" my camera.  I have emailed Sonya and asked her to get some from her camera.  I will update when I get them.  He had a blast with all his cousins and friends there.  Thanks to all that came!

Halloween 2010

Robert-Grimm Reaper, Michael-escaped convict, Traci-Jason, Rianne-skeleton Cheerleader
Traci has not been Trick or Treating in MANY years.  She usually hands out candy.  So this year she got to pick out her costume (Jason) and go door to door.  She was so funny.  Rianne actually didnt want to do it after getting spooked in a cul-de-sac.  There were a few houses that went all out.  They hid behind cars or trees and came out with chainsaws, leaf blowers, drills and chased the kids.  I don't think I have EVER seen Traci run as fast as she did with that house.  But, she LOVED it and continued to go door to door.  I am so glad that she is living with us.
