Halloween 2010

Robert-Grimm Reaper, Michael-escaped convict, Traci-Jason, Rianne-skeleton Cheerleader
Traci has not been Trick or Treating in MANY years.  She usually hands out candy.  So this year she got to pick out her costume (Jason) and go door to door.  She was so funny.  Rianne actually didnt want to do it after getting spooked in a cul-de-sac.  There were a few houses that went all out.  They hid behind cars or trees and came out with chainsaws, leaf blowers, drills and chased the kids.  I don't think I have EVER seen Traci run as fast as she did with that house.  But, she LOVED it and continued to go door to door.  I am so glad that she is living with us.

Rachel and Traci-saying Go Cocks!!

This was a last minute thought.  I actually heard it on the radio the night before but the kids had a BLAST.  Traci had so much fun.  She laughed the entire time.  The kids got their facepainted, ate cupcakes, played musical chairs, rode a hayride and did "trunk or treat".    We had a BLAST!  We will defiantly see if they have another one next year!!!

Rianne had a Halloween themed party this year.  She picked out Frankenstein cupcakes.  That is also what we carved on the pumpkin the day before.  She had family and friends from school and soccer, in total it was about 35 people.  We had a blast roasting marshmellows for Smores', having hot dogs, watching a DVD, running around playing outside.  We had this wonderful party at our friends house The Cobles.

Finish Jack-o-Lantern-Frankenstein
This was so much fun with Traci.  She doesn't remember the last time she touched a real pumpkin.  I know the last time we went to her house they had a fake already carved pumpkin from Michael's.  So, she was not too sure about the feel of the "pumpkin guts."  Once she started, she was making some funny faces.  Of course, my kids thought it was hilarious that she didnt like the feel of the "pumpkin guts" and laughed the entire time.  She only did it for 2 minutes at the most because she didn't like the feel of it.  But, I am glad she was able to do this.  She did say she remembered doing this in school with Ms. Pierce's class.  That would have been high school over 16 years ago.  I hope you enjoyed the pictures of the Travis' carving the pumpkin.

Traci plays PAL Baseball at Pineview and LOVES it!!

Traci played baseball for the learning disabled during the month of October at Pineview Baseball Field.  She loved playing.  She asked every morning if she had baseball.  She had practice on Thursday and games on Sunday.  She cannot wait to play again next season. She did VERY well.
