Traci and her nails....

Ever since Traci moved in, I have been trying to get her to let me paint her nails.  And for over a month now she kept saying, "I don't know!"   So, I dropped it and didn't push it anymore.  Well, last night while watching television with her and the kids she said she wanted to paint her nails black.  I said, "Black, are you sure?"  She replied back, "Yeap, I'm sure!"  I went to get my nail polishes and showed her all the colors including black; I had for Halloween last year.  She decided on the California Red.  She was so cute after I painted them...would not touch anything, and held them out to dry for about an hour.  She is so proud of her nails.

Lunch with Great-Grandaddy!!

Claude A. Taylor does Grits with Grandparents the Friday before Grandparent's Day.  So, I called my granddaddy to see if he want and could come to breadkfast with the boys.  He said he couldn't come for breakfast because he lived an hour and a half away and the traffic would be horrible but would LOVE to come to lunch with them.  So, my boys were estatic.  They couldn't sleep the night before and were up really really late.  Lunch with Robert class is 11:20 and Michael's class goes at 11:30.  I worked it out with Michael's teacher to sit with Robert class when he came into the cafeteria.

The next morning went off as usual, and I get a phone call at 10:30 from the front office telling me my granddaddy was there.  I was surprised he was there so early.  So, I walked to the front office to see them and I talked them into seeing my dad at Waffle House for 45 minutes and then come back.  My dad only works about 5 minutes from the school so it was not out of their way.  I went back to class to teach again. At 11:15 I walk back down to the office to walk them to Robert's class.  Robert was SO excited and even wrote granddaddy a note.  I don't know what it said, and when I asked him he said, "It was to Granddaddy."  Michael joined them at 11:30 and they had a GREAT lunch and a GOOD time together.

I loved that my Grandaddy was able to do this with them.  I know they will ALWAYS remember this.

First Soccer Game of Fall Season :-)

Today was the first soccer game for the boys and man was it hot.  Rianne decided not to play this year due to having all honor classes along with being in Advance Jazz and Girl Scouts.  She was asked to move to advance jazz because she would not benefit from being the the normal Jazz class.  I am proud of her for making that decision.

Michael played really well.  NO ONE scored on him when he was in the goal.  He hustled, played agressive, and had a GREAT time.  Although, they did lose the game he had a blast out there.
Punting it out!!

Barely got this one!

Drop kick

He did great!!!

Robert played great.  As many of you all know, Robert is an indoor kid.  He likes to play on Wii, XBox 360, DS or on the computer.  He didnt play any sports last year at all.  He wanted to take a year off.  So when he told me he wanted to play on Mrs. Sonya's team I was surprised but very glad.  I thought today by half time I would have tears, but there were none.  He did say that his legs hurt after the game, but he is looking forward to practice.

I am very proud of both my boys today.

Fred our Flutterby

Okay, so EVERYDAY we get home from school and greeted by a butterfly the kids have named Fred.  He is a Swallowtail Butterfly and has beautiful coloring.  He loves our Lantana flowers.  The kids wanted to take pictures of him so they could remember what he looked like.  So here is our pictures of Fred.  Enjoy!

Robert and his "lost" teeth

Robert's front teeth have been loose for a VERY long time.  Everytime he tried to pull them it would hurt him.  He tried and tried for over two weeks and then stopped trying.  Well the one on the left, actually turned a grey color because the nerve had died in it.  I thought I would have to take him to the dentist and pay to get it removed.  But, the night after I called Dr. S he was able to pull it.  So that saved me $75.  YEA!!!  Then the other tooth came out 5 days later.  Here is his picture will NO front teeth.  He is having a hard time saying the TH and S sounds, but he sounds SOOOOO cute when he tries.

Family Fun!!!

Michael and Robert cut the grass and Robert blew the patio off while Michael did the driveway.  They thought they were "big" boys getting to do that.

Traci even joined the outdoor fun and played soccer and baseball.

This is how she hit the ball with her head, LOL!

Pitching the ball to Rianne.

Rianne playing soccer with Traci.  She loves playing and coloring with her.  She is a great big
help with her.  Traci adores her too.

Rianne heading the ball!

Rianne decided not to play soccer this season, due to having ALL honor classes.  She wanted to take Jazz and do Girl Scouts and that is enough for her.  She is doing GREAT in school.

Michael playing soccer.  He LOVES soccer and would lay 24/7 if he could.
This is an AWESOME picture.  I just wish it wasn't a pink ball...LOL!
This is Michael drop kicking the ball.

We had a GREAT family day.  We didn't make it to the river like we were hoping but we were together
and that is ALL that matters.  I LOVE my family.

A very SHORT trip to TN!

This past weekend we went to TN to get Mike's truck from the Chancey's house.  It was a mini vacation.  Mike, I, the boys and Traci left Friday at 10 PM and left Sunday at 11 AM.  We tried to get on the road before then but of course we had some mishaps.  But, we had a WONDERFUL time.  Rianne stayed here in Columbia and had a GREAT time with the Busbee's.  (Thanks again)

We celebrate Braydn's 3 birthday.  That was special to me because I went to the hospital to visit Kim after having him.  Our friendship started about 3 months before Braydn was born.  Mike worked with Jason and they became great friends and then so did Kim and I.  They are like family to us.

She and Jason recently had another healthy and happy baby boy.  His name is Noah, but Traci calls him "Oah" and he is her best friend.  It was so cute with the way she was with him.  If he were to start fussing she would say, "What's wrong Oah, What's wrong."  She LOVED holding him.  He is my favorite picture of him!

Here are some picture from the TN trip of my family.

Traci coloring a picture for Kim :-)

Michael at water park.

Robert getting sprayed in the face, LOL!

She didn't want to go in the water park, but enjoyed her self sitting and
watching the kids.  She laughed and laughed at the boys.
